With the third place in the finals of the Subli Competition Young Dressage Horses at Jumping Amsterdam Joop TC underlined his talent as a dressage horse.

This was already recognized in the KWPN Performance Test. The committee rewarded his canter, his ‘rideability and workability’ and his ‘talent as a dressage horse’ with an 8.5. With further 8’s for step, trot, suppleness and posture & balance, the total result of his performance report was 82 points.

His report is very praiseworthy:
Joop TC is an honest and reliable stallion with a good to very good attitude. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and is very well behaved. The step is active, pure and good of space and suppleness. The trot is good of space with an active lower hind leg that is good to carry. The canter is uphill, powerful with a lot of carrying and a good space. Joop TC moves with a good leg technique, a good self posture and a good balance where his ability to close is positive. As a dressage horse Joop TC has a lot to a lot of talent and gives his rider a good feeling.

His talent has Joop TC not from a stranger. His sire Ravel was for many years with the American Steffen Peters one of the best and most winning dressage horses in the world. In 2009 they won the World Cup final in Las Vegas. A year earlier at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong they won the bronze medal individually. In 2010 they won two bronze medals at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington.

Tim Coomans bred Joop TC out of the performance line of Wensie (s.Pretendent) of which the Grand Prix horses Murdock, Bolero, Annette Ballerina and Zoraida are well-known representatives. The mother of Joop TC is half-sister of the Small Tour horses Biggles, Enterprice TC and Watch Me. The tribe brought many successful dressage horses.

Not only his pedigree makes Joop TC interesting, also his blood structure gives breeders a lot of possibilities. Through his sire Ravel he carries the prized blood of Contango. Furthermore, his pedigree is free of the influence of Ferro and Jazz, which makes Joop TC extremely suitable as a partner of mares who descend from the two greats in breeding.

Joop is available at Brinkman.
